Cards that know the site
Put the site map, the numbers from the analysis and the massing from Plotline on the board as cards. They stay live: change the scheme and the board follows, or freeze a card to keep it as it was on the day you presented.

AI apps
Ask Claude or ChatGPT to work on the board
Connect UrbanEyes to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any app that supports MCP. It reads your boards and, with your say-so, builds slides, files tasks, looks up sites and checks models, the same way you would.
- “Make a six-slide site deck for the Keizersgracht project.”
- “Turn the client’s comments on the board into tasks for this week.”
- “Check the latest model against the site’s FAR and tell me what is over.”

Questions
What is UrbanEyes Boards?
+
UrbanEyes Boards is an online whiteboard made for architects, urban designers and planners. Next to stickies, shapes and templates it holds live site maps, site analysis, Plotline massing and 3D models from Rhino and SketchUp, so workshops, design reviews and client presentations happen on one board.
Is UrbanEyes Boards free?
+
Yes. The free plan keeps 3 boards in the cloud with 1 GB of files. Solo is €19 a month for one person with unlimited boards. Team is €25 per person a month (from 3 people) and Studio €39 per person a month (from 5), both with monthly analysis credits. Paying yearly costs less.
Is UrbanEyes Boards an alternative to Miro for architects?
+
For architecture and planning work, yes. It does what a general whiteboard does (stickies, templates, presenting, exporting decks) and adds what a general whiteboard does not: the site’s maps and analysis as live cards, models from Rhino and SketchUp with versions, and area statements, FAR and bylaw checks. You can bring a Miro board across with the Miro import.
Can I bring Rhino and SketchUp models onto a board?
+
Yes. Install UrbanEyes Link (free) in Rhino 7 or 8 or SketchUp 2017 or later, sign in once, and send the model to a board. Each send is a new version placed on the board’s site, with its layers, element data, an area statement and bylaw checks. Revit and AutoCAD connectors are coming next. You can also drop GLB, OBJ, FBX, 3DM, IFC or DXF files on a board.
Can clients see or comment on a board?
+
Yes. Share a client link that opens the board read-only or lets the client comment without an account. You can also lock a version once it is signed off, and present the board as slides.
What workshops are included?
+
Brainstorm, retrospective, site-visit debrief, design options matrix, stakeholder map, project timeline, design review, client briefing and competition kick-off. Each opens laid out with the steps written on the board, plus a shared timer and dot voting.
Does it work with Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps?
+
Yes. Connect UrbanEyes to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or other apps that support MCP. They can then read your boards and, with your permission, make slides, add tasks, look up sites and check models for you. You can remove a connection any time in Settings.
Where are boards stored and who can open them?
+
Boards are stored in UrbanEyes’ cloud. Only the people you invite, your team, or anyone holding a client link you made can open a board, and you can turn a link off at any time. Files and model versions count towards your plan’s storage.
