UrbanEyes for AI apps

Ask your AI app to work on the site and the board

UrbanEyes runs an MCP server, so the AI app you already use can look up a site, test massing, check a model and put slides, tables and tasks on your boards, as you and only with your permission.

Compare v2 and v3 of the massing and put what changed on the board, with the area statement.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Add UrbanEyes

In Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP app, add UrbanEyes as a connector with the address shown in Boards › Connect AI.

  2. 2

    Sign in once

Approve UrbanEyes in your browser. The app gets a connection to your account, never your password.

  3. 3

    Ask

Ask for what you need: a site deck, the latest model checked against the FAR, tasks for the week. Results land on your boards.

  4. 4

    Stay in control

Each connection shows in Settings › Security › Connected apps; remove it there and it stops at once.

What it can do

The same tools as the app, called by your AI assistant: site context and places, massing and studies, maps and slides, documents, plans and tasks, models and their checks.

  • Look up a site, its buildings, climate and places
  • Generate massing and run sun and shadow studies
  • Add maps, slides, research cards and documents to a board
  • Read a model sent from Rhino or SketchUp, its area statement and clashes

Safe by design

Sign-in is OAuth with your approval in the browser. Connections are listed and can be removed in Settings. Costly tools such as site data have daily limits per person.

Questions

Which apps work with UrbanEyes?

+

Any app that supports MCP connectors, including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code (Copilot) and Gemini.

Does the AI app see all my boards?

+

It works as you, so it can open what you can open. You approve the connection, and you can remove it at any time in Settings › Security › Connected apps.

Does it cost extra?

+

Connecting is free. Actions that use credits in the app, such as a deep site analysis, use the same credits when an AI app asks for them.
